Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Tollygunge was formed in the year 2017. The organization is a member of Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad. The three basic objectives of the organization are SEVA (to serve), SANSKAR (to inculcate moral values) and SANGATHAN (to strengthen and organize the Terapanth Youth). The organization has a huge team of over 100 members. The organization was founded by Sri Anant Bagrecha is presently headed by Sri Sumit Kothari as its President.
Sanskar
The organization helps in strengthening the moral values of youth by creating opportunities to serve people, state and nation through its various programs and to inculcate in themselves the value of following the Jain philosophy.
Seva
Under its Social Service Mission, TYP Tollygunge plans to run and manage activities of social causes like Blood Donation Drives, Eye Check Up and Medical Check Up camps, De Addiction Programs, helping the needy by timely distribution of needy things free of cost, setting up of pathology labs, giving services on days of national importance to the nation at large, supporting in times of national grief and natural calamities etc.
Sanghathan
TYP Tollygunge also emphasizes on the sense of harmony, affection and unity. It also works to build a strong nation by social, cultural & physical development of youth. TYP uses the potential of youth in the right direction of character building thereby influencing development of a better society & nation at large.
